Omega PLC Appoints Cogent as Lead Strategic and Creative Agency.

Kitchen designer and manufacturer, Omega PLC, has appointed Cogent as its lead strategic and creative agency partner to support the company’s ambitious expansion plans, following a competitive pitch handled by The Drum Consulting. We will work closely with Leeds-based digital agency, Engage, who have also been appointed to help execute the strategy online.

Omega PLC is a brand leader in the design and manufacture of high-quality fitted kitchens and furniture. We have been tasked with supporting the business to achieve its ambitious expansion plans for its ‘very British collection’ of brands.

We will be responsible for a seven-figure through the line budget for Omega’s Sheraton, Mackintosh, Chippendale and English Rose brands as well as for its fast-growing Omega Contracts division.

Head of Marketing for Omega PLC, Chris Blackham said the partnership with Cogent was a further indication of Omega’s business ambition.

He said: “A significant investment in marketing and communications is the next crucial step in our expansion plans as we look to energetically grow our market share. Earlier this year we revealed details of our £20m investment and expansion plans, which will increase production capacity to over £125m over the next two years.

“We were looking for an agency who could give us a step change in our marketing efforts and Cogent demonstrated they were the right team to lead us on the journey.”

Bruce Hutton, our Chief Executive, echoed this sentiment. “From the beginning we had a great feeling about Omega – as both an ambitious business and as a high-quality operation that we could do our very best work for,” he said.

“It’s increasingly rare to find companies truly willing to let us work together with them as partners. And what’s more the kitchens are beautifully designed, with a fantastic build quality!”
