Brief

Us Brits are a proud nation of tea drinkers, yet we drink around 95 million cups of coffee a day. As one of the UK’s leading bean to cup coffee machine makers, Melitta wanted to celebrate our nations new-found love of coffee, on a day that we celebrated the UK’s most avid tea drinker, Her Majesty The Queen.

 

Challenge

The Queen’s Jubilee is a once in a lifetime moment, celebrated by millions around the world. We needed to create a simple social campaign that celebrated this momentous occasion, while driving sales of Melitta’s limited edition, Union Jack Purista coffee machine.

Solution

We created the national anthem through the orchestral sounds of the Melitta Purista coffee machine, with a little help from one of Her Majesty’s Corgis. A short social film launched on the Jubilee weekend, supported by shorter, product focused content with a touch of British humour. God save the bean.
