Brief

Over the warm summer months, Marston’s often suffer from a drop in footfall to their indoor pubs, with customers generally preferring pubs with beer gardens.


In the summer of 2019, the team at Marston’s briefed Cogent to drive footfall and spend in their pubs.

 

Solution

The ‘Summer Eatwave’ integrated campaign focused on promoting the summer menu to get people into their pubs and enjoy a few drinks with a bit of grub!


At the heart of this multi-channel campaign was the ‘Bun Run’ game. The interactive game included a prize draw and encouraged users to engage with Marston’s over the summer months.
