Summer is nearly over, and while some of us prepare to mourn the (not so frequent) sunshine, others get ready to welcome cosy jumpers and spiced lattes. Nevertheless, we’ve been busy as usual. So hold on to your hats, as we give you the rundown on all the latest happenings to take place here in August.
This month saw the launch of #LiveYourBusLife, a campaign we created for Arriva Bus UK. One of their key target audiences is students. Having moved away from Mum & Dad’s taxi service, and with a new-found freedom to explore everything a new area has to offer, buses become a lifeline. The start of the academic year is a key opportunity to drive sales of the Arriva student ticket. The #LiveYourBusLife campaign shows students (and their parents, who often foot the bill!) the exciting life they can lead with a student ticket in their pocket. Living across social media, email, print and digital outdoor, we used stop motion photography to grab attention and convey the excitement of a vibrant student lifestyle enabled by Arriva.
On your marks, get set… cycle! August saw the start of Kwik Fit’s Tour de Branch, a challenge that sees their team cycle 2,500 miles around 127 of their service centres across the country to raise funds for children with Cancer UK. This 30-day mission aims to raise £1 million so more children with cancer can ring the end of treatment bell. We’re proud to be sponsoring our partner, KwikFit, for every mile they ride. A fine example of Togetherness. GOOD LUCK TEAM!
In support of #BrumFeeds, and our internal #TogetherWeAre initiative, the whole agency joined forces to help fill Birmingham food banks during the summer holidays.
We’ve also been busy working on our new TV ad for Kwik Fit. The new campaign is a celebration of the diverse range of customers Kwik Fit serve – from white van drivers to mums on the school run. Whoever you are, whatever you need, Kwik Fit are there to help you Drive Away Happy. There are some prime slots lined up and some more exciting work to come! Watch this space.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christm…. Ok, maybe not. But the festive season is well underway for our clients Marston’s as we worked together to launch their Christmas landing page and create over 100 campaign assets going live across email, web and social media in the coming months (get booking your Christmas parties now!).
