Our People: Richard Payne Creative Director

After graduating from Stourbridge College of Art, where he studied Fine Art, Graphic Design and Advertising, Richard worked at a number of London based and regional agencies.

He joined Cogent in the mid-nineties and in 1998 he became its head of Art, working out of both Cogent Midlands and Cogent London.
In Jan 2000 he was promoted to Creative Head.
A keen creative and strategic thinker he has consistently produced award winning work for clients such as Vauxhall Network Q, NFU Mutual, Channel 4, Fortnum & Mason and Cadbury’s. And has even found time to direct a couple of commercials along the way.
