Utilising a Content Management System that intuitively delivers content and improves search engine rankings.
Queensgate’s website, queensgate-shopping.co.uk, was re-built using Midnight, the Content Management System developed by Cogent Elliott. Midnight gave Queensgate the flexibility to use existing assets in a much more effective way, significantly improving the foundation of the website.
Launched in April 2009, the site includes dynamic content, a registration process and content for the centre’s 100+ retailers. It was an instant success with the search engines with an increase from 36 indexed pages in Google on the day before go-live to some 260 pages within 6 weeks.
The site has been noted as the best shopping centre website within Queensgate’s parent group and is designed to continuously improve.
