Well known on the high street as a dynamic, fast paced and high volume retailer, Poundland needed a more logical layout to their website to help customers browse effectively with tactical cross selling.
Cogent worked alongside Poundland during a customer research project and are working towards a phased online strategy starting with a focus on improving the customer’s journey through the site. The site is built on Midnight, a robust content management system developed by Cogent that allows all products to be grouped into multiple categories such as fashion and beauty, house and home, leisure and entertainment. Bundles of single products can now be grouped together for Christmas stocking fillers, Back to School, Gardening or even cold and flu fighters!
