Cogent have designed a suite of communications for Arriva buses as they aim increase patronage over the Christmas period by encouraging shoppers to take the bus rather than the car, and so avoid seasonal traffic and parking problems.
The integrated campaign uses targetted messages for a range of outdoor media in 8 different regions.
As well as the more traditional media we have also produced a range of creative concepts for location media that target shoppers directly. The concepts have been utilised for ATM machines across 100 sites, 225,000 pharmacy bags and 765,000 sandwich bags to be displayed in 225 key venues across the country.
We created three different concepts, ‘Christmas shopping without the pantomime’, ‘Mistletoe without the whine’ and ‘Christmas shopping without going crackers’ which all feature the distinctive Arriva glowline style.
As with all Arriva creative collateral, we uploaded all of the elements onto ‘IMPACT’, the Digital Asset Management system that we created for Arriva. This allows all the regional managers to utilise the material in bespoke localised activity and so not only ensures consistency but also reduces costs and duplication of work.
