The CBS Outdoor Long Copy Challenge
Cogent's senior creative team recently entered CBS Outdoor's prestigious Long Copy Challenge for the chance to win 125,000 Pounds worth of cross-track media space on the underground network in Central London.
The team had to design a cross-track poster for the London Underground, which demonstrated that long copy remains an effective tool that can still hold consumers’ attention.
Our entry, a 48-sheet design for Zurich, had to use a minimum of 50 words and maximum of 200 words of copy to advertise a brand or client.
The winners were revealed at an event on 16th November, where Cogent battled it out with the likes of BBH, M&C Saatchi, Publicis, TBWA, Leagas Delaney, Y&R and Lowe.
Out of 500 entries, Cogent’s ad for Zurich, created by Craig Wood (Senior Copywriter) and Jason Vinciguerra (Senior Art Director), made the top five and was also showcased on the platform at Oxford Circus station.
