Nudge Marketing Event - 7th July at Cogent
Lessons in Nudge - Aligning Marketing With Human Behaviour, with Nick Chater from the IPA Behaviour Economics Thinktank
Too often we think of marketing as advertising, direct mail or, increasingly, social media. But as brands like Lloyds TSB, Hyundai, BT, Ikea and even the largest advertiser of all, the Government, are discovering, if we understand better the many influencers of human behaviour we can make our marketing far more effective.
This is the basis of ‘Nudge’ marketing and is rapidly becoming a hot topic for all marketers.
So, to help us learn more about how supermarkets, car manufacturers and banks are using nudge marketing techniques to influence the choices consumers make, and how this might help make your marketing programmes more effective, we would like to invite you to join us for an evening discussing this exciting new approach to marketing.
We have invited Nick Chater from the IPA’s Behavioural Economics Think Tank to lead the event and would be delighted if you could join us.
Nick is Professor of Behavioural Science at Warwick Business School, and co-founder of Decision Technology Ltd, a research consultancy. Nick has served on the IPA’s Behavioural Economics Think Tank, is on the board of CREDOS – the research arm of the Advertising Association – and is a member of the Academic Advisory Panel for the Cabinet Office Behavioural Insights Team.
