Cogent Elliott launch mobile ticketing campaign for Arriva buses
Cogent Elliott is launching an integrated advertising campaign to promote awareness of m-ticket, Arriva's exciting new mobile ticketing system.
Kicking off at the end of January, the campaign will run until mid May, with the m-ticket trial taking place on Fastrack buses from 11th February 2008.
The m-ticket microsite is now live and is already receiving hundreds of visitors eager to find out more. The site incorporates a flash animation demonstrating how the mobile ticketing process works and invites passengers to join the trial.
A highly targeted 6 Sheet campaign promoting the m-ticket trial and directing customers to the microsite is now running along the Fastrack route in Dartford and Gravesend. Tactical leafleting and Road Shows, as well as on-bus screen advertising have been utilised to reinforce the m-ticket messaging and exciting new technology.
m-tickets enable passengers to buy tickets via their mobile phones using an easy-to-use, downloadable application. It saves time, hassle, and money, with the added incentive of up to 20% off their bus ticket. Passengers will be able to download the mobile phone application from www.arrivabus.co.uk/m-ticket nearer to the beginning of the trial.
