Cogent Elliott International Airport Meriden - Red Nose Day
Heath Farm was transformed into Cogent Elliott International Airport Meriden for Comic Relief
Cogent’s Social Committee devised a week of fund raising activities for Comic Relief with Red Nose Day seeing the agency turn into an International Airport.
The week started off with a wii tournament, followed by an evening ‘pub’ quiz and bingo in reception.
Red Nose Day itself saw the fancy dress competition. Each department was given its own departure destination and competed to win the United Nations Awards for Best Dressed Individual and Department.
Team Jaguar turned into a room of Casinos and Cowboys representing the USA, Rasta Mouse and the Bobsleigh Team for Jamaica were found in Sales and Markeing and we had a very Benidorm-esque Client Services team.
Cogent’s Digital department was transformed into Australia complete with the Sheila’s wheels girls and our own version of Dame Edna.
An Eiffel tower and a rather special Alan Gilmour/Mona Lisa were set up in Brand, PR and CRM’s room.
Elsewhere, the whole of Production was turned into a Swiss Chalet complete with roaring log fire, our studio was taken over by chair-hogging Germans and LR GWS were invisible behind a host of daffodils and Welsh flags.
Finally, Justin Bieber was spotted in the Canadian Triumph office, but no screaming girls!
All in all we raised nearly 900 pounds for Comic Relief. Well done to the Social Committee for a brilliant week!
