Cogent Elliott appoints Senior Marketers to lead its Brand, PR & Customer Insight offer.
We have appointed senior marketer Alan Gilmour, as Director of Brand & Insight Led Marketing and Louise Bucknall as our PR Specialist, as the agency continues to grow its integrated offer.
The two appointments follow a busy and successful 12 months for Cogent, with the agency recently adding a string of brands onto its client roster including Club Med NMEA (New Markets Europe and Africa), Atos Origin, Severn Trent Water and Amtico.
Gilmour joins Cogent from the Identity & Passport Service where he was Director of Insight and Marketing. Previously, he has held senior marketing positions at Heritable Bank and Lloyds TSB. Louise Bucknall joins the agency after working as a communications consultant for Lloyds Banking Group and The Department For Children, Schools and Families. She has also held several client side PR roles notably working for Taylor Woodrow Plc and Severn Trent Water.

Alan will utilise his marketing expertise to provide brand and customer insight solutions for clients, and Louise will oversee the growth of the agency’s Public Relations offer. Social Media will also be a key focus and will be delivered through a combination of the agency’s specialist PR and Digital expertise.
